Residents of the 42nd Senate District on Thursday will have an opportunity to visit the new location of state Sen. Linda Holmes’ constituent service office.

“The open house will give the people of the district a chance to see where the office is located so they know where to come if they need to voice their concerns or need information or assistance with state government programs,” Holmes, an Aurora Democrat, said.

The open house will be from 4 to 7 p.m. at 13300 South Route 59, Suite 2B-1 in Plainfield.

The 42nd District includes portions of Aurora, Plainfield, Naperville, Montgomery, Shorewood and Bolingbrook
